On Christmas Eve we invited the missionaries over and shared our Christmas dinner. The next morning we woke up (earlier than we needed to 'cause Daddy couldn't wait any longer). We spent all day in our pajamas, played with our new toys, watched Christmas movies and ate leftovers. It was a wonderful day together!
Last year Denae had asked Santa for a Barbie. Every time we asked her and even the letter she wrote him she wanted a Barbie. The weekend before Christmas we went to visit Santa and she asked him for a Bedazzle that puts jewels in your hair. AHH! Santa left her note that said he did not have time to change his list but that he had gotten her a Barbie. She remembered all year and as soon as Christmas was mentioned she announced that she would be asking for her Bedazzle again. Santa remembered too so she finally got it this year. That and a doll in a pink dress where her favorite gifts.
Naomi did not know what she wanted. We would ask her if she wanted this or that and she would say yes. Her favorite gift was a camera that Denae got, unfortunately. Now she doing things around the house to earn her own camera. She did get a baby doll that she carries around everywhere.
Miss Aliya is so easy to please. She usually just steals the gifts away from her sisters when they are not watching. Especially their baby dolls. She is always walking around with some kind of baby in her arms.
It was a wonderful Christmas. We really missed our extended family, but we had a wonderful day and season for that matter.

can i say again that i'm jealous you got to just hang out together? i'm getting kind of tired of "making the rounds."
i love the family picture especially! everyone is so happy...just as it should be.
