We had 3 Christmases this year! It was wonderful!
PART 1
We flew to Idaho on Christmas Eve morning so we decided to have a small family Christmas morning the Saturday before we left. It was so cool because it really snowed that weekend and the girls got to wake up to a pretend white Christmas morning. We opened a couple presents, had a big breakfast and hung out in the snow all weekend. Church was even cancelled so we did not go anywhere.
It was perfect!
There is nothing better than coming in from the cold to a nice cup of hot coco!
PART 2
When we arrived in Idaho we did not want to bug anyone Christmas morning so my Dad set us up with a hotel room in Boise. To our surprise "Santa Claus" broke into our hotel room, set up a small Christmas tree on the desk and filled all of our stockings. He also left a note that said there would be a surprise when they got home. They had asked for gold fish and Santa did not think gold fish would travel well on the plane. We then got to enjoy a wonderfully busy day traveling from one home to the next. We spent Christmas Eve with my Dad and Santa came to say Hi. After our quiet Christmas morning we went to Jacob's parents home for the afternoon. We finished the holiday at my Mom's house that evening. It was such a great day!!!!
A very special thank you to my sister, Marina, and to my best friend, Sarah who made Christmas morning one I will not forget!
PART 3
As a family we had to go through some serious recovery after our trip home so it took us a while to get back to our normal routine. We all came back sick and really bumbed about being back in Virginia. On January 15th we woke up to a special surprise. On the counter there was a fishbowl with 3 fish and a note from Santa. It read;
"Denae, Naomi, & Aliya - I am so sorry it took me so long to bring your Christmas surprise. I caught a cold and Mrs. Claus wouldn't let me come until I felt better. I hope you feel better too!
Merry Christmas - Santa Claus
Denae named her fish Rainbow, Naomi named her white fish Shadow, and Aliya's was named Bob. It has been a few weeks and currently we still have Bob. The other 2 have gone to fishy heaven by way of the toilet.
To say the least my girls were totally spoiled this year.
It was such a special year for our whole family!
