Another Year At Salem Fair

On July 3rd we drove about 45min. to the Salem fair. We went last year and had such a good time we decided to go back. Admission is free and all the shows are free, the only thing you pay for is food and rides.
We went to a few shows. The Caribbean pirates on a tight wire, the petting zoo, the dancing sea lions, wild animals, and the pig races.

The pig races were fun to watch, not that you can tell by these faces...
We really did have a lot of fun, I swear!
Denae has always been a thrill seeker. She loves the big rides and was very upset last year when she was too short. Not this year, she has grown a ton! She was allowed to pick 2 rides and she made sure the were the best! You could hear her laughing and screaming over all the noise. We are hoping next year we can buy her a wristband and let her ride as much as her heart desires. I I will admit it was a little hard to let her ride alone with all the big kids!

Look for the yellow shirt and huge smile!

Naomi, on the other hand, was completely content with being short. She wanted to ride the gentle ones but not alone.

She did not even mind that Denae got to ride 3 rides so she wouldn't be alone.

Aliya could have cared less about the rides. She had fun waving but she was there for the food. That lemonade cup looked huge in her little hands!

It was a great day and we made a lot of fun memories!
