How many people do you know can fall asleep while at the dentist.
My kids are so good at the dentist. Naomi fell asleep while she was waiting for the novicane to kick in and did not wake up until they were almost done.

I would rather give natural childbirth than go to the dentist!
It has been very hard for me not to pass those fears onto my kids,
but they do much better than I do.

yeah. i'm with you on the whole hating to go to the dentist thing. (maybe not to the extent you are with the child-birth business but still...) it's bad enough to have someone look in your mouth and reprimand you for not brushing the right way or flossing enough. it's even worse now that it's my own brother that's my dentist. i almost think it's a little too personal for him to know that kind of stuff about me. but what the heck...it's cheaper!
oh my goodness - I think your dentist should use this picture in advertising! It might backfire though because she might look like they gave a little TOO much Novocain! :-)
