I am so grateful for Thanksgiving Day!
A friend of mine recently posted on her blog an entry entitled "The Lost Holiday". She vented about how the world has forgotten the importance of Thanksgiving. When the Halloween decor comes down the Christmas decor goes up and somewhere in between everybody has a big meal. What an interesting way to lead us into a holiday that is suppose to be about Christ...if you don't take time to count your blessings you will probably enter December very greedy and confused about your priorities.
She finished her post with this statement, "I want to remember the true meaning of Christmas by first returning to the true purpose of Thanksgiving".
What a wonderful way to enter this holiday season, with a thankful heart.
